Kinda important quesiton?

How do i know if a girl likes me. The past (idt it really counts) girl i liked played a game with me and i found out that she liked me. It ended with her saying ''missed placed emotions''(she broke up w\ her bf 4 weeks prior to that). That killed me inside and i dont want to make it awkward(i like one of my friends) Any help is very much appreciated.
