Blackberry problems freezing on bb platform screen?

just got internet fixed last night. had to call customer service, etc. i was told to update my email and when i went to, the screen froze on the loading screen. i took out the battery a few times, even left it out while i slept and now it says blackberry platform ? it’s like a menu but i cant click anything. it all says error. i looked online and quite a few people have this problem. they have PCs:( no code for macs.. i don’t know what to do. nothing will work. oh, except calculator? i have a blackberry 9330
