Why did the actor Navin Nischol died?

I like his Punjabi movie Aasra pyaar da and he played the character name Madan Lal and he worked with Raj Babbar played Madan’s brother Suraj Prakash, Kiron Kher played Madan’s wife Sheela Devi, Preeti Sapru played Madan’s sister in law Kiran. I cannot believe his dead because he is 65 but my living maternal grandparents are a lot older than he is. I wish he could live up to 100 but tell me why Navin Nischol died and I am requesting you all to pray to god for all living celebrities working in Hindi, Punjabi and English movies to live longer so that we can meet them during the concert!
