How to best improve performance of my laptop?

There really is not much more you can do. Unfortunately, your graphics card and cpu are fairly outdated as 2.00GHz for a dual-core is nothing now. What you can try and do is switch to Windows 7 or back to Windows XP. Other than that there is not much as you've targeted everything I would have thought to do first.
