Native russians?or whoever that is fluent in it?

ok so my paternal family is russian,my maternal family's armenian,I am 18 now trying to learn russian,cause I really love it,and I kind of feel like I have to,anyway I really like it,and I'm a beginner and I have a lot of Accent and I hate it,will it go away if I practice?cause you know what they say---------->practice makes perfect
