Why are my maternal instincts kicking in if im barely 19?

Ive always planned on having a baby till my late 20's/early 30's but lately ive been having this desire to care for a baby & give him/her all my love (lol). Im in college right now so i know that right now is not the time to have one but im just wondering why am i feeling this?
