Computer won't play sound from anything other than iTunes?

You can start the computer in safe mode and remove the driver, then boot normally and download the driver and install it again. Sometimes you have to do this about 300 times with the intel audio, as it never works right. I got a soundblaster card for my desktop that had the same intel audio because it never worked.
